A trio comprising Masa, 2DD and Nanao, Audio Active score a pumped rastified version of rap music, with heads arcuate to dub wizard Lee "Cabbage" Perry. Recording for the British nickname label On-U Sound (helmed by Adrian Sherwood), Audio Active released Phoebus Choco in 1997, followed by the obligatory remix album It's a Stony. Bong appeared in early 2000.
