Timbaland & Magoo are a hip-hop duette from Norfolk, Virginia that stormed onto the scenery in the fall of 1997 with their debut single "Up Jumps Da' Boogie" and album, Receive to Our World. The duet met when they were teenagers in the early '90s. Over the adjacent few age, they worked together intermitently as they concentrated on breaking into the music patronage. By the mid-'90s, Timbaland had accomplished himself as a promising producer and in 1996 he began having hits. He produced Ginuwine's hit "Pony," as well SWV's "Can We" and Aaliyah's "One in a Million." Magoo had scripted a handful of cuts on the Ginuwine albums, as well as Missy "Infringement" Elliot's debut, Supa Dupa Fly, which as well featured several tracks produced by Timbaland. By 1997, the twin distinct to launch a transcription calling together and in the fall of that year they released their debut album, Receive to Our World.
